They designed a water seal rim around the edge of the utensil, which would eventually change the way the health conscious cooks of America prepare meals for their families.
The two-brother team engineered fasteners on the cover that would seal in the natural flavors and nutrients of the fresh, organic vegetables they grew on their farms. They named their product Kitchen Craft. Shortly after its invention, production of this new innovation in food preparation began.
With the lack of retail stores in rural America, the brothers chose to sell the miracle device through in-home demonstrations. They gave it a simple monicker— the West Bend Aluminum Company. As success and sales continued to grow, the business was renamed Kitchen Craft Company, and manufacturing was contracted exclusively to the newly formed West Bend Company.
This decision resulted in the town of West Bend becoming the cookware manufacturing center of the world! The factory grew to employ over workers at its peak. The technique, which combined zinc and chromium, made it economical enough to create another first—stainless steel cookware.
Using this latest innovation in merging metals, the first stainless steel, three-ply, carbon core waterless cookware was created and sold under the name Lustre Craft.
It was a huge success. However, as WWII waged on and the American military entered the fight, production of cookware came to a halt. All manufacturing facilities were repurposed to churn out supplies for the U. Meanwhile, the sale of the Lustre Craft and Kitchen Craft cookware continued to soar. When the war finally came to a close and the young soldiers returned home to marry their girls, their Kitchen Craft and Lustre Craft cookware were delivered! They took us to a paid dinner, they promised wonderful traveling experiences and a company trip if we made enough sales.
He went into the job not realizing they would have him do manual labor. He thought that he would be conducting shows and entertaining sales.
These people are specifically hiring military veterans and taking advantage of them. They spoke so much about hiring military veterans but now I believe they were only "hired" for one 4-day weekend for "training. The dollars lost below includes all food, lodging, and equipment. My husband is still in knoxville and was told to wait there to see which show he would be going to next. He will be driving home today so i expect him to buy more gas. I don't even need any new pans and at my age, 67, I don't need anything that will last a lifetime Anyway, I felt like someone going to a timeshare presentation, no intention of buying and you come out with the deed in your hand.
I have 3 days to rescind my order. They seem like great pans and if they truly are, I would consider keeping my order as is. However, if anyone here has used them and has any pro or negative feelings on them, please speak up. I bought the basic set and they threw in an electric skillet, gourmet cooker slowcooker , kitchen kutter salad shooter and a free bowl to catch the kitchen kutter stuff. Looking forward to some great reviews by my Tugger friends..
ScoopLV Guest. You have been hornswoggled. I've seen these bozos at Las Vegas home shows. You're right -- it's a timeshare presentation. Any legitimate company would invite you to buy a single pan and try their system out. Their "waterless cooking" tout is a load of garbage. It's just layered tri-metal cookware. You can buy Le Creuset -- one pan at a time, mind you -- and get the same result.
Rescind, rescind, rescind. And quit buying stuff without googling it first. I think you already know the answer to your own question Don't be hard on yourself though, simply cancel the order, just like I think you know you already should.
